THE BABYS

THE BABYS became prominent in the late 1970’s and early 1980s’ with a string of successful albums and singles, with such songs as Isn't It Time, Every Time I Think of You, Back on My Feet Again, Midnight Rendezvous and Head First, (and others!) becoming Billboard Chart favorites. THE BABYS created some of the most memorable arena anthems of their era. Today, the shows are jam packed with material that has entire audiences on their feet – singing and dancing to every tune. The songs are not stripped down in any way – they are played to the record, giving fans the full appreciation of THE BABYS incredible catalog!
Despite lineup changes, their untimely breakup in the early 80’s, and shifts in the music industry, THE BABYS have maintained a dedicated fanbase that has continued through to today. Their influence can be felt in the works of many contemporary rock artists, and they are often celebrated for their contributions to the genre. With their blend of classic rock sensibilities and a penchant for catchy songwriting, THE BABYS remain a beloved part of rock history.
BABY ANIMALS

Suze DeMarchi, the lead singer of Baby Animals, began her music journey in local Perth pub bands at 17, and by 21, she was in England recording as a solo artist with EMI Records. However, frustrated with the label’s push for a pop career, she returned to Australia in mid-1989 to form a new band. With the help of her manager, John Woodruff, and fellow Perth musician Frank Celenza, DeMarchi recruited bassist Eddie Parise, guitarist Dave Leslie, and drummer Celenza, forming Baby Animals. Their debut gig in November 1989 at Sydney’s Kardomah Café marked the start of their successful career, with their demo of “Break My Heart” included on The Angels’ single Dogs Are Talking. In 1990, the band signed a publishing deal with SBK Songs and was later signed by Imago Records, with Terry Ellis describing DeMarchi as having “that indefinable magic.” Their self-titled debut album, recorded in New York with producers Mike Chapman and Kevin “Caveman” Shirley, was released in 1991. The single “Early Warning” hit the Top 20 in Australia, and the album debuted at number six on the ARIA charts, eventually reaching eight times platinum and becoming the highest-selling debut Australian rock album at the time. The band toured with major acts like Bryan Adams, Van Halen, and Robert Plant. Their success continued into the '90s, with their second album Shaved & Dangerous released in 1993. After a break in the mid-’90s, DeMarchi pursued a solo career, releasing Telelove in 1999. Baby Animals reunited in 2007 to record new material, and their music was featured in the film Smart People.
TED MULRY GANG

TMG were a cornerstone of the 70s rock scene. Label mates with AC/DC on Alberts, TMG helped shape the guitar-driven sound of Aussie rock. Their 1975 smash hit Jump In My Car catapulted them to superstardom and they followed with a swag of crowd pleasers such as Darktown Strutters Ball, Crazy, My Little Girl, Heart of Stone, and (You’ve Got) The Devil In You to name a few.
The respect the industry had for Ted Mulry was evident by the massive support shown by fellow musicians who put on a series of concerts to raise money for him after he was diagnosed with cancer in 2001. Steve stepped up to perform for Ted at a benefit in his honour Gimme Ted and received the thumbs up from his big brother, so it was only fitting that when TMG got back together that Steve performed for Ted. Now, TMG are back being a hot commodity on the touring circuit, widely renowned for their great live shows.
STANDING ROOM ONLY

Standing Room Only formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2017 as a powerhouse trio with a colossal sound and a song list to match.
They quickly entrenched themselves on the circuit playing every venue they could in Victoria and interstate. Travelling extensively, they honed their sound, look and show into the battering ram it is today.

A unique and enthralling show begins with all three standing and playing, yes, even their drummer, Azz-man who is front and centre of the stage, providing a compelling show that will keep you on your feet. They are a compelling, energetic and powerful three piece outfit heavily influenced by the great Aussie pub rock bands of the past with a bit of funk, country and emotion thrown in for good measure.
Drummer/singer Azz-man provides aggressive, authoritative time keeping and commanding vocals, lead guitarist ‘Fozzy’ provides amazing melodic and razor-sharp rock riffs, whilst Jimbo delivers the low-end groove & thump with slick harmonies connecting it all together in a captivating package.
RATTLINCANE

Out of the northern suburbs of Melbourne, the band weaves earthy melodies with honest stories from the fields of their lives. They craft a musical tapestry that defies genres and delivers a familiar yet fresh and captivating sound. Some say it is country with a bit of rock, others say it’s rock with a bit of country, but we say it is Rattlincane.
The four members of Rattlincane are working-class guys who have been long-time mates. They share a unique bond that runs through their friendship and right into their music. However, it is their live performances that really make this band shine.
A Rattlincane show oozes quality songwriting and musicianship, with great storytelling at its core. A driving rhythm section and guitar riffs, along with 3-way harmonies, round out the experience, giving Rattlincane a sound that is full and rich.
Already with five independent albums under their belts, and a brand-new sixth album due for release, Rattlincane have quite a catalogue of original songs, each conveying real-life experiences.
